A recent visit to Jharkhand amazed me when I saw "Ol chiki" written on the sign boards of villages outside Jamshedpur. Looking at the layout and position of Ol Chiki, I have a bit of doubt whether it was officially written or some Santhali activists wrote it. Either way it's a great beginning for people outside the tribal community to see the script in public places.
